Jennifer Dwyer Vargas
President & Founder
Jen Vargas is a seasoned executive with 20 years of experience leading strategic communications for global brands and businesses through critical moments including acquisitions and mergers, divestitures, global expansion, crisis, shareholder and consumer activism, and leadership and organizational change. A recognized partner in the C-suite and among key internal and external stakeholders, Jen’s strength is establishing communications plans and processes that support corporate goals and deliver results.
Prior to launching JVComms, Jen was Vice President, Corporate Communications for Hudson’s Bay Company, the diversified global all-channel retailer that owns banners including Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson’s Bay, Lord & Taylor, Gilt (which has since been divested), Galeria Kaufhof and Galerina INNO. She has also served as Senior Vice President, Corporate and External Communications at the global communications agency Ketchum, and as head of corporate communications for Avon Products, Inc., where she spent nearly a decade leading corporate PR and communications.
Jen began her career in the financial sector, first in marketing and communications at IBJ Whitehall Financial Group (formerly J. Henry Schroeder Bank & Trust), and then at Moody’s, the credit risk assessment and rating agency, where she advanced through a series of communications roles with increasing scope and responsibility over seven years.
Jen holds an MBA with a dual concentration in Finance and Communications from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, and a BS in Public Relations from Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Susan leads the integrated marketing and communications practice at JVComms. A conceptual thinker, Susan is a marketing trailblazer with a proven track record for success. Her rich experience has made her a leader in the space for more than two decades. Susan brings a unique perspective to developing a brand's product communication through a fully integrated approach driven by data and research.
While solving brand challenges with a truly methodical approach, Susan maximizes returns for a brand's marketing investments. She expertly leads integrated work that blends brand strategy, advertising, media, interactive, sponsorships, event marketing, CRM, retail and trade marketing, promotions, emerging media, social networking, and PR. Her client experience includes Crayola, Colgate Palmolive, Kraft, LVMH, GSK, Wyeth, Allied Domecq, Pernod Ricard, Dannon, Pepsi, British Airways, IBM, AT&T, Red Door Holdings, St. John’s Riverside Hospital, Hope Center and Unilever. Susan’s work has been recognized with multiple EFFIE wins, a Silver Davey award and other industry accolades.
Before joining JVComms to lead the agency’s Integrated Marketing & Communications practice, Susan was a partner with MS3 Connect, director of client services at VOX. She also managed the Think360, Inc. client service efforts and ran the G2 Worldwide (Grey Network) Stamford Office as Managing Director, guiding both the creative and account teams to broaden client solutions. In her formative years, she rose through the strategy and account ranks in the WPP (Ogilvy & Bates) and Omnicom network agencies.

Vice President, Public Relations & Communications
With more than 15 years of communications experience, Lindsay Fox has consumer brands expertise in the areas of public relations, media relations and strategic corporate communications.
Lindsay joined JVComms in January 2019, and leads strategic communications for the agency’s B2B clients, and PR activities for retail and start up clients. Lindsay’s wealth of PR, business and field communications experience is a tremendous asset.
Before joining JVComms, Lindsay most recently served as a senior strategic communications consultant for clients including coworking company Work Well Win. Prior to that, she spent over a decade at global beauty and direct selling leader Avon Products, Inc., where she held a variety of roles across the global organization and US business in the areas of Public Relations, Sales & Field Communications, Corporate External Communications and Internal Communications.
During her time at Avon, Lindsay led initiatives that spanned 100 countries and touched more than 40,000 employees, an external sales force of over 6 million, and various external stakeholders. She launched and oversaw Avon’s Global Scholarship Program, awarding hundreds of college scholarships to students around the world.
Lindsay began her communications career with positions at leading PR agencies in New York City including Edelman, Lippe Taylor and Rubenstein Associates.
Lindsay received her B.A. in English from Muhlenberg College.
After nearly 20 years in the virtual corner office of VOX inc, Linda now joins forces with JVComms, bringing a sense of hands-on brio into every new assignment with her hallmarks: inspiration, passion, ingenuity and derring-do. Linda is one who’d much rather work than play the role of agency sage.
To go along with her innate panache, Linda’s creative, strategic and leadership abilities were honed as a Creative Director at some of the industry’s most prestigious advertising and marketing agencies, including J. Walter Thompson, Toronto — plus Dancer Fitzgerald Sample, Grey and Omnicom— all in New York.
Today, Linda spins a powerful mix of strategy, ideation and execution that resonates with every assignment she takes on. Whether concepting new products, services or business ventures for clients, managing strategic partners, directing film productions, or collaborating across resources, Brian thrives on bringing talented people together, inspiring creativity, and motivating everyone to perform at their highest level – while having a good time doing it.
As a writer, director and producer, Brian has developed branded content featuring celebrities including Michael B. Jordan, Kiefer Sutherland, Common, Jeremy Renner and Yetide Badaki. Notable current and past clients include Things Remembered, Disney, ABC, ESPN, Showtime, HSN, GMC, Panerai, Wenger, Johnson & Johnson, Del Monte, Bloomin’ Brands, CAT Footwear, Space Florida, MIT, and several clients in the healthcare space including St. John’s Riverside Hospital (NY), St. Anthony’s Hospital (FL), Bayfront Hospital (FL), BayCare Health Network (FL), Elitra Health (NY), Sharper Future (CA), and Baxter Medical.
Brian is principal at Zeh Arndt Creative. From May 2014 through June 2017, Brian served as Creative + Film Director/Producer at Paradise Advertising. There he helped lead creative and video teams to develop award-winning destination, conservation and aeronautic brands and campaigns for the likes of Space Florida, Daytona Beach, Orlando North and Mote Marine Lab & Aquarium.
Brian started his career in Detroit at Ross Roy Communications (BBDO), McCann/SAS, McCann Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather. His creative work has resulted in numerous awards for himself and his clients, including Addys, Tellys, London International, and New York Festivals. He is a two-time Sports Emmy Nominee.

Margaret is a versatile and strategic event management executive and trusted partner to JVComms, with 20 years of experience and success in the hospitality industry.
Progressive, decisive, and innovative, highly valued for expertise interpreting corporate vision and strategy, Margaret translates objectives into actionable plans, and provides decisive leadership to multi-functional event staff. Articulate and persuasive with exceptional communication and training skills, Margaret effectively relates to everyone at all levels. Margaret is valued by clients for being highly collaborative and interpersonal.
Margaret is founder and principal at M. Hanrahan Event Consulting, LLC. Based in Chicago, Illinois, Margaret regularly travels throughout North America to provide personal management and oversite of client events.
Gabrielle conducts research for JVComms. From media reports to social media monitoring, Gabby puts her business and finance education to work for our clients producing thorough analysis that takes into consideration client goals, general news environment and various circumstances.
Gabrielle joined JVComms in 2019 as an intern while concurrently pursuing her BBA business degree in finance at Baruch College. She contributed beyond expectations and was promoted to Communications Associate in 2020.
Director, Strategy & Operations
Levy Vargas leads strategy and operations for JVComms, with responsibility for agency growth as well as IT, Finance and Human Resources. In addition, his experience as a network security engineer is a tremendous asset to the agency’s data breach management services through Breach Communications, and his experience leading operations at a major sound engineering firm responsible for many large-scale events in NY, Miami, Paris and LA uniquely position Levy to play a principal role in JVComms event management.
Levy also serves as Chief Operating Officer at adi: Audible Difference Inc., which specializes in precision audio-visual design and installation for fashion, theatre, contemporary art, and corporate events around the world, providing tailored solutions for each production by blending the latest in technology with extensive knowledge of the industry.
Levy began his professional career in the IT field, where he has more than 21 years experience ranging from a CISSP-certified network security engineer to system administration to the biotech field of bioinformatics, medical informatics, and computational linguistics. Levy is co-author of several refereed published papers in Lyme disease-related research. He has held roles at Dreman Value Management, InterWorld Corporation (one of the first ecommerce platforms to support major brands) and IBJ Whitehall Bank & Trust.
Levy holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hunter College, and is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Emerging Media & IT Associate
Abel brings a broad spectrum of experience to the JVComms team, with background spanning healthcare, academia and tech. He has applied his skills in the events industry, on-air community television production, and audio-visual post-production. Currently a governing committee member and active participant of an online science fiction writing community, Abel also has strong online community management roles on Reddit boards and IRC social channels.
Abel has his finger on the pulse of emerging media; his interests include gaming, blogging, podcasting and live-streaming on Twitch. JVComms Media Monitoring clients benefit from Abel's continuous evolution of our proprietary social media tracking platform.
Abel holds a BA in Philosophy from SUNY Albany, and he has pursued post-bac and graduate level course work in computer science and social research.
