We built and run the entire communications function for a major global supply chain player, starting with the company narrative to articulate its strategies and strengths for employees, customers and shareholders alike. We created and manage a content calendar encompassing a cadence of employee engagement activities including town halls, intranet features and a quarterly newsletter. We drive customer interactions through sales support, lunch and learn sessions and direct communication. We help the company evolve and tell its story through media relations, participation in industry trade events and to its shareholders. We launched and managed social media channels targeted at the right audiences, with consistent increases in likes and interactions month-over-month since launch. We’ve developed a stepped-up visual identity that flows through new presentations, social profiles, customer communications and more. Sales are growing, board and customer satisfaction is positive and employee engagement results continue to grow year-over-year with our strategies and support.
We were tapped by a newly-acquired subsidiary of a public company to help the management team better articulate company goals and results, and to implement a process for board meeting prep among a tight-knit group of leaders running a global retailer in more than 100 countries who had not previously had to deal with public reporting or shareholder relations. Employee education on practices related to public and nonpublic information gathering, retention and sharing, and leader coaching on board reporting and communications yielded a positive transition to the new parent company.
